Brewing Instructions

CATTEA® Brewing Instructions | Taiwan's Finest Fruit and Herbal Tea Brewing Guide
▍Hot Brew: Pour 150-200 ml of hot water (98°C) evenly over the tea bag, steep for 8 minutes or longer for a richer aroma.
▍Cold Brew: Pour 250 ml of room temperature water, cold brew in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours or longer.
▍Iced Tea: First, pour 100 ml of hot water (100°C) evenly over the tea bag, steep for 5-10 minutes and stir to speed up extraction. Finally, add ice cubes and shake until the tea cools down.


✱ Since CATTEA® fruit and herbal teas are free of artificial flavors and fragrances, we recommend reducing the water volume and extending the steeping time for each subsequent brew to fully extract the pure flavor of the natural flowers, herbs, and fruits. If the fruit and herbal tea contains tea leaves, they are made from hand-picked tea buds from the Alishan high-mountain tea region. The tea leaves are of high quality, do not become bitter with prolonged steeping, and can be re-brewed.
✱ We recommend using soft water with a calcium carbonate content of 10-60 mg/L. The basic principle is that it should not be pure water; it must contain minerals.

▍Refreshing and invigorating
Lemon perfume and lemongrass are rich in active ingredients such as Limonene and Citronellol, offering a crisp citrus and fresh herbal aroma. These may help to boost spirits, relieve fatigue, and enhance focus. Peppermint contains Menthol, which provides a cool and refreshing olfactory and gustatory experience, helping to soothe tension.
▍Oral Health
Peppermint's cooling menthol can freshen breath and temporarily inhibit oral odors. Lemongrass contains citronellol and flavonoids, which have certain cleansing and deodorizing effects.
▍Stress Relief
Peppermint and lemongrass are commonly found in herbal tea stress relief formulations, helping to relax emotions, alleviate headaches and feelings of stress. Mexican marigold is often used in herbal tea applications to create a gentle soothing sensation, which helps to relax the mind and maintain tranquility.
▍Promotes Digestion
Lemon perfume and peppermint are traditionally used to relieve bloating, soothe gastrointestinal discomfort, or promote intestinal motility. Lemongrass is rich in herbal polyphenols, which help regulate intestinal flora and may help improve digestive function.

The polyphenols in stevia help control blood sugar levels. Stevia is also a natural, calorie-free sugar substitute.
