Q: How do you cook mulled wine?
A: Prepare 750ml of red wine. In a heavy-bottomed pot, dry-fry the spices, sugar, and dried fruits over low heat to awaken their aromas. Add a small amount of red wine first to create a spiced base. Then, pour in the remaining red wine and heat over low heat for 15-20 minutes until steam appears, but do not boil. Strain the spices and serve.
